Semiconductor lasers

Within the Laser group, we are interested in two types of semiconductor-based laser sources: high-power laser diodes and optically pumped active structures. We investigate and evaluate different laser architectures adapted to these components. This work is carried out in collaboration with European academic and industrial laboratories.

We are particularly interested in the coherent combining of laser diodes, and in the development of dual-frequency lasers for metrology.
