European Adaptive Optics Summer school (3rd-7th June 2024)

We are pleased to announce that registration is open for the European Adaptive Optics Summer School, which will be held at the Institut d’Optique near Paris, France 3rd – 7th June 2024. Topics will cover the basics of adaptive optics across applications in vision science, ophthalmology, astronomy, microscopy, free space optics and beyond. The programme is delivered by experts from across the different application areas of AO and includes lectures, hands-on lab sessions, virtual lab tours, a poster session, and a social event. We plan to offer a hybrid registration with virtual attendance for lectures only.
Application deadline Friday 15th March 2024 (midnight GMT)
Expected registration fee: maximum 500 euros (1000 euros for industry attendees)
Accommodation cost: 60-100 euros per night
Travel costs: Attendees will be expected to arrange and fund their own travel
We are also hoping to offer a small number of free places as scholarships, you can apply via the registration form.
